Technical Account Manager, Cheese

Remote, Western US (MST or PST)

We are seeking a high-energy candidate to represent dsm-firmenich with core cheese accounts in the Western US. Ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the cheese industry, including technical aspect of cheese technology, cultures, and enzymes. Large portfolio of existing business with significant opportunity for business development. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of dsm-firmenich product range of ingredients for the Cheese industry from a commercial and technical point of view.
• Gain a strong understanding of the cheese market and technologies used by sub-segments of the industry.
• Support growth through commercial planning and strategy as well as technical support, training, and customer trials.
• Develop intimate understand of customer needs and support customers' success through introduction of optimal ingredients and application support.
• Contribute to the innovation process with industry insights and expertise.
• Take an active role in the industry events including conferences, short courses, and product judging.

You Bring:

• A completed degree in Food Technology, Biological Sciences, or similar field.
• Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of cheese and/or fresh dairy production technology.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and/or trainings.
• Ability to travel >50%
• 5+ years' technical sales or technical support experience and experience the Cheese and/or Fresh Dairy industries.
• A sense of ownership, delivering results that matter and contribute significantly to our success.
