Microsoft is looking for an individual to help build and shape the Microsoft Advertising North America Channel Partner Sales team. Do you have experience building a high-performing business while driving material value to partners and customers? Microsoft is looking for a top performing Partner Sales Executive with search and native advertising experience who can grow revenue and increase partner satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic partner relationships and delivering customized search solutions aligning to the partner’s advertising needs.

The Channel Partner is a group that's part of the Global Partner and Retail Media (GPRM) within Microsoft Advertising, which operates globally. GPRM is at the forefront of the digital advertising sector, aiding Microsoft in establishing its role as a crucial technology provider that facilitates the purchase and sale of digital ads across its comprehensive digital portfolio. GPRM provides global empowerment to advertisers by selling to partners, agencies, and small-to-medium business customer divisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 5+ years partner management, sales, partner sales, business development or advertising, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry with a focus on online media or digital advertising
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development/acquiring new partners.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 9+ years partner management, sales, partner sales, business development or advertising, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry with a focus on online media or digital advertising
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
  • 10+ years of experience in partner channel development.
  • Experience building relationships and providing recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Negotiation of complex enterprise deals; building relationships with executive stakeholders and making strategic recommendations.

Partner Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 - $203,500 per year.

Client Engagement

  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients' business needs and competitive market trends.
  • Owns and elevates partner engagement strategy to foster trust and brand growth.

Industry Knowledge

  • Shares industry knowledge and provides advice to inform decisions and close deals.
