Duties and Supporting Responsibilities
- Is responsible for all documentation work for confirmed and resigned employees and assist in the initiation of Recreation/Welfare activities in the Hotel.
- Responsible for the integrity of all confirmed employees records and the efficient and effective management of the Personnel Record/ Report System.
- Work with Department Heads on their manpower needs, both full-time and part-time, including sourcing for alternative candidates and foreign workers to fill vacant positions.
- Assist in the preparation of ID cards and name badges foe employees.
- With the aid of a computer, he/she updates the leave records of employees and verifies the accuracy by generating a Printout.
- Types and prepares letter of acceptances for employees who have resigned and ensures that all properties so issued are returned.
- Verifies the medical bills before forwarding to the Director of People & Culture for her approval.
- Administers, checks and ensures that wage increase for promotions are correct and that all documentation pertaining to resignations, transfers and promotions are effected.
- Update and maintain monthly reports for the CORE Team.
- Extends staff advice on Industrial Relations and Salary matters in accordance with the prevailing Personnel Policies to Line Managers to achieve equity within the Hotel.
- Compile monthly Staff Turnover Report, EXCO Report and Group People & Culture Report.
- Makes telephone enquiries, as so directed by her superior to various organisations to get information on Industrial Relations.
- Maintains the log book on Locker keys issued and ensures that such key issued corresponds to the name of the person so registered in the log book.
- Assist the Assistant People & Culture Manager in conducting regular and ad hoc surveys to ensure that the Hotelβs total compensation and benefits package is competitive with the market.
- Prepares statistics for the MOM survey and other such questionnaires that may be requested of from time to time.
- Issues out the Performance Appraisal Forms for both bargainable and management colleagues in May and October respectively and progress chase the return of all forms.
