Essential Functions:
- Manage day to day regular communications with Microsoft ensuring the flow of information between the vendor and our teams
- Manage, promote, and develop Summit 7 relationship with Microsoft
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Create prospects and new opportunities for Summit 7 sales
- Inform Summit 7 Sales Team of Microsoft incentives, programs, and sales plays
- Work with VP of Marketing to create Microsoft-centric GTM strategies
- Work with VP of Sales to inform decisions on specific Summit 7 Sales Plays
- Prepare and coordinate Summit 7 and Microsoft Quarterly Business Reviews
- Effectively present material to key Microsoft stakeholders
- Build partner development plans with Microsoft PDM and Summit 7 leadership team
- Drive relationships between Summit 7 Sales team and Microsoft Account Executives
- Coordinate meetings and strategic initiatives with Microsoft account leaders for Enterprise, SMC, and SMB tiers
- Create and present material for Microsoft/Summit 7 initiatives to line up with GTM and corporate objectives
- Responsible for providing lead sources and information to the Summit 7 team via Microsoft channels
- Set up and run effective reporting and rhythms to review progress, communicate prioritization criteria, and express a data-informed point of view at the team and stakeholder level specific to Microsoft and Summit 7
- Serve as an extension of Summit 7's brand and thought leadership for Microsoft
- Provide thoughtful virtual and in-person presentations to a range of audiences
- Participate in Microsoft-centric digital forums such as Microsoft Community, LinkedIn, Reddit and Discord
- Ensure that Summit 7 is maintaining and attaining all partner certifications
- Oversee Partner Portal Administration
- Provide any needed contract or sales support, assisting with special projects as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Job Specifications
- S. citizenship and the ability to pass an extensive background check
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field, OR 5 years experience in corporate communications, public relations, or other marketing related field
- Proven experience planning, prioritizing, and implementing marketing strategy
- 1+ years of Office 365 Platforms (Commercial, GCC, GCC High) and Azure Platforms helpful (Commercial and Government), and how the licensing, features, and capabilities map to Defense Industrial Base (DIB) cybersecurity regulations (NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR)
- Entrepreneurial attitude and capacity to work well in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience in building brand awareness and recognition; effective public speaker
- Experience working with a cloud/technology partner ecosystem
- Travel; estimated up to 15%
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software
