Job Summary

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• Leader with Business/Data analyst experience in a financial services environment
• Experience of Data Products : Foundational and Business in a financial services environment
• Strong SQL skills and experience of operating in a Data Platform environment
• Experience of requirements gathering, solution design and change delivery in line with control and governance standards
• Data modelling and mapping experience including understand types of data schema and ability to define, describe and document data lineages and translations
• Experience of delivering change in an Agile framework and working with Jira/Confluence tools
• Self-driven, proactive and demonstrates initiative with strong problem solving abilities
• Strongly collaborative in nature with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Highly communicative and influential, able to manage conflict with ability to express technical complexities in accessible terms

 

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate preferably with a technology based degree
• Avaloq books & record knowledge – highly desirable

 

Key Responsibilities

1. To conduct in-depth analysis to understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications.
2. To analyze available options, considering feasibility, cost, and alignment with business requirements and suggest solutions.
3. To participate and facilitate the walkthrough’ to brief the functional specification mapping to business requirements.
4. To prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements
5. Tackle complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
