As an Oracle Business Development Director, you’ll play a key role in the success of our established Oracle practice by acquiring new Energy and Utilities customers and positioning Huron’s Digital Solutions as a Strategic Oracle Partner of Choice. You will leverage your industry skills and work alongside energy SMEs to identify opportunities and avenues to sell new Oracle consulting service offerings and solutions.
An experienced sales “hunter”, you'll be able to harness your industry network to generate leads, participate in sales cycles, get invited to RFPs, win new business, build your customer base, and drive top line revenue - you'll be amply rewarded for your success with our uncapped commission plan.
Your expertise in Oracle SaaS products and solutions means you’ll be adept at establishing and managing client relationships with key decision makers and building trust by understanding your client's business goals to deliver successful outcomes.
With your exemplary sales skills, professional services experience, and a deep understanding of Oracle SaaS products, you’ll be able to work with cross-functional teams to ensure your client’s goals are being achieved through first-class service delivery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales of Oracle Consulting services, including developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts within North America (primarily) for enterprise accounts (revenue > $750M USD) in the utilities industry.
  • Networking and developing strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle and Huron for their resource needs.
  • Searching for new opportunities and growing the sales pipeline, generating leads, and submitting proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings.
  • Working closely with experienced architects, industry SMEs, and delivery professionals to deliver solutions and pricing.
  • Prospecting, generating leads, and closing deals.
  • Growing sales pipeline and searching for new opportunities.
  • Communicating and partnering with C-Suite, VP, Director, and Manager level executives.
  • Assisting with refinement of Huron messaging to the Energy industy
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a business development/sales role in the IT professional services or management consulting industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise and a strong network within the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Full sales cycle experience, from lead generation, to identifying opportunities, to closing large, million-dollar plus deals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Firm understanding of the Oracle ERP and EPM solutions
  • Knowledge of RFI and RFP response work
  • Knowledge of the Oracle sales ecosystem
  • 7-10 years of sales and closing experience
  • Thorough knowledge of pipeline management

The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $205,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes and required travel.  This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s Business Development Commission Plan and Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs
